Southside Strategic launched in 2020 with a straightforward mission: build a licensed firearms outfit that actually knows what it's talking about. Precision sales, bespoke modifications, FFL transfers, and NFA concierge service — delivered without the corporate stiffness that makes most brands in this space feel like a liability waiver came to life.

Honestly? We just like things that go pew. The art of carry is a hobby, a lifestyle, and something we take seriously. We decided to build something around that passion rather than keep it to ourselves. We're a few creative junkies who needed an outlet, found an audience, and never looked back. Don't worry — we have a few custom projects in the pipeline.

We're based in Arlington, TX — in the heart of the DFW Metroplex. We serve clients in-person by appointment, virtually, and ship coast to coast.

The Mark & The Mascot

Every real brand has two things working at once: a mark that tells you who they are, and a character that shows you how they operate. Ours are the Arch and the Hyena — and understanding both tells you everything about what we're building here.

The Arch is our primary mark, and it wasn't chosen by accident. The arch is one of the oldest structural innovations in human history — the Romans didn't invent it, but they perfected it, and they used it to build things still standing two thousand years later. An arch doesn't hold itself up through brute force. It holds through geometry: every piece dependent on every other piece, the whole structure stronger than the sum of its parts. That's the business. Deep product knowledge, regulatory fluency, trusted supplier relationships, and a customer base that keeps coming back because they know they're getting straight information. The arch holds because the geometry is right.

The Hyena is the mascot — and before you say anything, hear us out. Almost everybody gets this wrong: hyenas are not scavengers. That's a myth. Hyenas are apex predators. They hunt and kill the majority of their own food, operate with a social structure more sophisticated than most large predators, and have survived virtually unchanged for millions of years while "more impressive" animals went extinct around them. The reputation doesn't match the reality.

Sound familiar? That's the firearms industry in a nutshell — relentlessly mischaracterized by people who've never taken five minutes to actually understand it. The hyena knows that world. It's been living in it forever. It doesn't need your approval. It just shows up, works, and wins — often in conditions where everything else already gave up.
