ATF eForm 1 — Concierge Service

Want to legally manufacture your own NFA item — converting a pistol to an SBR, registering a suppressor build, or configuring a short-barreled shotgun? The ATF eForm 1 is the path, and Southside Strategic is in your corner every step of the way. Our eForm 1 Concierge service provides hands-on guidance and support through the entire submission process — from determining the right registration method to ensuring your application is complete, accurate, and ready to submit.

With the $200 NFA tax stamp now eliminated for suppressors, SBRs, SBSs, and AOWs, there has never been a better time to register your own NFA item. The process is free — but it has to be done right.

Pricing

  • eForm 1 Concierge Fee: $60 (per application)
  • You should not need this service more than 1 time. We set you up to be an expert on your own!
  • NFA Tax Stamp: $0 (eliminated for suppressors, SBRs, SBSs, and AOWs as of January 1, 2026)

Individual and trust applicants both welcome. Trust applicants — fees apply per Responsible Person.

If you receive a disapproval due to an application error we did not catch, we will refund your money! Qualification and FBI background check disapprovals or delays do not qualify for a refund.

What's Included

  • Individual vs. Trust registration consultation
  • Guidance on responsible person packet preparation and 1:1 review
  • ATF eForms account setup guidance
  • eForm 1 application review prior to submission to minimize rejection risk
  • Photo and fingerprint coordination for all responsible persons
  • Submission support and estimated processing timeline guidance

Who Needs This Any individual or trust seeking to legally manufacture a Title II NFA item including:

  • Short-Barreled Rifles (SBR) — barrel under 16" or overall length under 26"
  • Short-Barreled Shotguns (SBS) — barrel under 18" or overall length under 26"
  • Suppressors (home manufacture)
  • Any Other Weapons (AOW)

How It Works

  1. Contact us to schedule your eForm 1 consultation — bring your firearm or have your specifications ready
  2. We determine the correct registration method (individual or trust) and walk through your specific item and configuration
  3. We review your complete eForm 1 application together before submission
  4. You submit through the ATF eForms system with our guidance
  5. We confirm everything looks correct and walk you through your estimated processing window

Current ATF eForm 1 Processing Times (approximate, subject to change)

  • eForm 1: 30 – 90 days

Important Notes

  • The item must be legal to manufacture in Texas and compliant with all applicable federal and state law — we will confirm this during consultation
  • You may not manufacture or modify the item to NFA configuration until your eForm 1 is approved and your tax stamp is in hand — no exceptions
  • The applicant remains responsible for the accuracy of all information provided on the application
  • Trust applicants must provide a current, complete copy of their NFA gun trust prior to submission
  • eForm 1 approval authorizes manufacture only — it does not transfer ownership of an existing registered NFA item; see our Third-Party NFA Transfer service for that
